FEACAL SLUDGE TREATMENT STATION AT MASAKA IN KICUKIRO DISTRICT

Among the goals SCC has put forward this year, the construction of Wastewater Treatment Plants and Sludge Treatment Plants comes first. This has enabled the company to expand and present its image on the Rwandan market.
It’s in June this year that the study of the Design, Build and Operate a Feacal Sludge Treatment Station At Masaka in Kicukiro District started. The site preparation started in August and still ongoing. This project is intended to treat 200m3/day of wastewater delivered by trucks from Kigali’s commercial, residential and public toilets septic tanks.
The plant that will be used in this case is a BIOKUBE product of the BIOREACTOR 250- type with four units. This will be the first ever planted feacal sludge treatment plant in Rwanda and shall be a pilot.
This project is meant to be completed before the end of 2019.
