The East African Business Summit brings together the region’s best business minds from to engage with government leaders and business groups with a view to obtain solutions that will bring growth and development in the East African region.
This year, The East African Manufacturing Summit and Exhibition was scheduled as a three (3) day event that took place from 23rd to 25th May 2017 in Kigali-Rwanda. The East African Manufacturing Business Summit and exhibition themed “Harnessing the Manufacturing Potential for Sustainable Economic Growth”, An effective conference co-organized with the East African Community (EAC) with very strong support from the Rwandan Government. The event is co-hosted by the East African Business Council (EABC) and the East African Manufacturing Associations i.e. the Rwanda Association of Manufacturers (RAM), Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA), Confederation of Tanzania Industries (CTI), Burundi Manufacturers Association (AIB), and Kenya Manufacturers Association (KAM).
This summit and exhibition provided an exhibition where local enterprises showcase new products and services as well as latest innovations and this was to our advantage because this forum stands to offer an important platform for governments in the region to engage the private sector on critical steps needed to influence higher levels of investment.
During the Summit and exhibition, as SCC we were able to showcase our new wastewater treatment technologies as the latest innovation in the Sanitation and wastewater sector.
A number of government officials, researches, manufacturers and investors visited our stand for further explanations and demonstration of this new technology that SCC is offering.
