(Our Stand in Transforming Africa’s Trade Exhibition at Kigali Convention Center (KCC))
28th June to 1st July 2017
Bringing together global experts and shareholders to discuss the future of intra-African trade, the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) held a three-day general meeting with an exhibition at the Kigali Convention Center. This meeting ran under the theme “Promoting African Trade and Economic Transformation” convening senior government officials, including African and global CEOs, renowned academics, private sector practitioners and leading industrialists.
During this exhibition, participants both from private and public sectors showcased their products and services with the intention of demonstrating how African countries can strategically invest in trade to boost intra-African trade so as to promote economic development, sustainably.
We as SCC were among the exhibitors and we were able to show and share our new wastewater treatment technology which we understand is of necessity on the Rwandan market today.
The SCC stand attracted a number of local and international officials and among those include Hon. Minister François Kanimba. We had the opportunity to explain to him how our wastewater plant operates with the help of our demo plant which was installed at the exhibition ground.
This exhibition was very beneficial in terms of creating awareness and exposure.
Below are some pictures from the Exhibition.
